I am the conductor of Whiston Brass but at the minute am helping out on the front row. Presently, I teach at Kirk Balk school in Barnsley which keeps me very busy, but I also like
going to the gym to let off a bit of steam in the evenings! I can play most brass instruments and also teach and play the piano.
Front row Cornet - Janet
I am a Teaching Assistant and have been a member of the Band for the last nine years. I am married with three grown-up sons. I also play the guitar, and enjoy walking, reading and preaching.

I'm married to Claire and have two lovely girls. I live locally and work at the Corus steel works in Rotherham. I enjoy gardening,swimming and keep fit.
I first started playing the baritone aged thirteen but only for a few years. twentyfour years later I joined Whiston Brass playing the cornet and have enjoyed this very much.

Hello folks! Jacks the name brass music the game. I have been married to Wendy for 32 years , We have two amazing children Lindsey and Christian. I last played with a band when I was 16 (that's bad) I am now just slightly older (yes just slightly) and loving every note I play especially the ones I get right, but you should come see and hear us,a great band and an amazing gang of people.

My names April and I'm thirteen years old!! I go to Oakwood Technology college and my favourite subjects are P.E and Drama!!!I especially love hockey and I play for Rotherham and South Yorkshire . Actually I love most sports, and I love being active. I also love animals and have recently got my own puppy, called Moose! He's very cute and I cant wait till everyone at band can see him.
